Our Employees

We provide on-going in-house training for all of our staff, as well as specialised training qualifications. With our employees being qualified to City & Guilds, NCFE and HSE standards, we can always ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.

All of the Southern Drains employees have been fully trained to the very highest of standards, and we stringently follow strict Health and Safety guidelines that meet regulations that every company should abide by.

Every single one of our engineers and work mates are CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme)card holders, which means that they have been fully tested and certified to work with the construction equipment and machinery that we need to complete our projects to perfection.

Our team have also completed customer services courses, which means they treat our customers with the utmost respect and can manage any issues that are faced whilst drain cleaning and conducting other services we offer.

We are proud that all of our employees have attained their Confined Spaces certification and advanced training, provided by HSE (Health and Safety) and NCFE approved training centres. This allows them to work confidently and safely in High Pressure Water Jetting and Electro Mechanical Machining environments.

Some of our team have also successfully achieved the high standards required for the operation of Mobile Work Platforms and other plant machinery. This allows them to reach problems quickly and conduct works required when at a height using mobile elevating platforms.

This means that we go through a huge 7 steps of the accreditation process to obtain membership and make sure that we can use the logo. Safecontractor is a leading Health and Safety scheme that highly promotes safe working and higher standards of competence and compliance with HSE regulations. We are also currently working towards the Investors In People award which will help us to help our employees with their wellbeing and to work in health and with good practice.

Our Contracts

We were the first and the only drainage company to offer our unique and unsurpassed ‘guaranteed preventative maintenance contracts’ to our clients. This goes to ensure that our customers benefit from exclusive services and quality of workmanship that is unsurpassed by many other drainage firms.

All of our contract cleans are fully guaranteed for the duration of the contracts (subject to non abuse). This means that you can take advantage of our services as you need them, and we will arrive promptly to take care of any issues that you may have.
