CCTV Surveys
Many types of pipe work systems ranging from 2” (50mm) to 48” (1200mm) diameter can be surveyed by C.C.T.V. inspection normally for one of the following reasons:
- Investigating repeated or isolated blockages in drains and sewers or other types of pipe work.
- Checking the structural condition of pipe work.
- Detecting scale or corrosion buildup in industrial heating or process pipe work. Quality control in pipe work e.g. to inspect welded joints on long runs of metal pipe particularly gas and oil lines.
- To determine the exact location of branches and connections when up-dating drawings.
C.C.T.V. provides the most accurate fault diagnosis. Specially developed miniaturized cameras with their own powerful light source allow a detailed close-up look at the inside of drains, pipes. Chimneys. Chutes, etc. Structural or infiltration damage can be pinpointed with extreme accuracy, often doing away with the need to dig up a complete run. The camera, supported by a ‘Skid’, is passed through the run, feeding signals back to a mobile TV survey unit.
The equipment enables our TV technicians to record and analyse data and to prepare a detailed written report and recommendations.
THE ULTIMATE FAULT FINDER.
